Focus On...: Beth Robertson Fiddes

We are glad to welcome back Beth Robertson Fiddes, one of the most exciting and unique Scottish landscape painters working today.
With the ability to paint crashing waves or deep, still and transparent rock pools with a skill few artists possess, Beth uses a mixture of styles to achieve her remarkable effects. Creating paintings that sit between realism and abstract, oil paints, inks, adding paper for texture, washing away paint, sanding back layers of work are all used in the process to convey Scottish land and seascapes like no other.
